A. Experience of team leadership and project management:
2007 – 2010 – Designer for a data classification tool on the Research Project called “Fault Tolerant Resilient Socio-Technical Systems” lead by Prof. Angelica Bacivarov, Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
2005 - 2006 - Software algorithms team coordinator for an exchange rate forecasting tool in the section of CERES Research Programme (Exchange Rate and Competitiveness), lead by Prof. Emilian Dobrescu, Institute of Economic Forecasting (IEF), Romanian Academy.
2005 - Designer of an Artificial Intelligence-based tool for DNA sequences analysis funded by the CNCSIS (the Romanian National University Research Council) Grant No. 1448/2004 (Phase and vectorial analysis of genomic signals), lead by Prof. Paul Cristea at UPB.
2004 - Software design manager within the framework of the Breast Cancer Prediction Using Artificial Intelligence (BCPAI) project coordinated by Prof. Yrjö Collan, University of Turku, Finland.
2003 - Leader of the project team for the EUNITE Competition 2003 (European Network of Excellence on Intelligent Technologies for Smart Adaptive System) at IAMSR, Turku, Finland.

Awards - The highest award for best abstract at 11th International Conference in Dialysis - Advances in CKD January 28-30, 2009, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
- Winner (third prize) of the International Competition on Artificial Intelligence EUNITE 2003 (European Network of Excellence on Intelligent Technologies for Smart Adaptive System). The topic of the competition: Prediction of product quality in glass manufacturing process (the best solution in conformity with the variance of all five output errors)
